Champion jockey Corey Brown, fresh from his Group 1 victory on Solzenitsyn in the Toorak Handicap last Saturday has been confirmed as the new rider for Pierro in the Cox Plate.
Craig Williams was originally booked to ride Pierro had seek and been granted a release from his engagement in order to continue his association with Green Moon in the weight-for-age showpiece at Mooney Valley on October 27th.
Gai Waterhouse has also booked Craig Newitt to ride Proisir, her other 3 year old in the Cox Plate.
