Racing NSW Stewards have on Tuesday accepted requests for the following last start winners to carry gear changes in their respective races this Saturday (6th April) at Rosehill Gardens.
Tooheys New Group 1-Golden Slipper
ROMANTIC MOON – Winkers On. Trainer John O’Shea advised the Stewards that he believes the addition of Winkers will advantage the filly, principally in order to get her to begin better and travel throughout the race, being up in grade and what is expected to be a fast run race.
SIDESTEP – Blinkers On. Trainer Peter Snowden advised Stewards that the addition of Blinkers to the gear of Sidestep will be in order to get the colt to focus better throughout the race.
Group 1-The BMW
HATHRAS (GB) – Winkers On. Trainer Kris Lees informed the Stewards that, at the recommendation of rider Christian Reith, Hathras – who is stepping into Group company – will carry Winkers in order to focus and travel better throughout the race.
