OTI Racing has announced on Wednesday that Francesca Cumani has been appointed to the role of European Representative.
As OTI looks to expand the number of horses acquired and raced in Europe, Terry Henderson and Simon O’Donnell believe that Francesca, daughter of trainer Luca Cumani, is ideally placed to work with trainers and agents during the flat racing season.
Having already assisted OTI in New Zealand and Europe to acquire a number of horses, Francesca will add significantly to OTI’s due diligence processes in assessing horses that may, in the medium to longer term, continue their careers in Australia. She will be on hand to foster relationships with key parties who perceive benefits in co-owning or selling stock to OTI.
Francesca’s will also play a key role in managing horses in Europe by working with trainers to enhance racing careers. With more horses being planned to race in Europe before export to Australia, Francesca will assist co-owners visiting from Australia or Europeans who may wish to race with OTI in the lucrative Australian industry.
