Melbourne’s leading trainer Peter Moody has had another highly-rated imported galloper join his Caulfield team.
French import Kesampour, a last start runner in the famous Prix de l’Arc de Triomphe, is already in work at his Caulfield base.
The four-year-old has been previously trained throughout his career my Mikel Delzangles, the man who trains Caulfield and Melbourne Cup winner Dunaden.
Kesampour is an on-pace galloper and hasn’t raced since finishing thirteenth in last year’s Arc at Longchamp in October, according to practicalpunting.com.
Moody has had success with imported gallopers like Manighar (three Group 1 wins) and My Quest For Peace, just to name a few.
The report says Moody will give Kesampour a break before the Spring Carnival.
