Sessions in order
Unbeaten colt Sessions is set to uphold his perfect record on Saturday at Rosehill when he contests the Hollywood Fashion Secrets Handicap over 1300m. Trainer Peter Snowden is pleased with the colt and is is confident he can produce the same display of talent that he revealed when he won at this track last start. “he is still very new and green but he is a nice progressive horse” commented snowden.
The Colt by Lohnro who currently sits third on the leading sires list is out of Canny Lad mare Seances and will be under the guidance of experienced in form hoop Peter Robl on Saturday.
The strong Darley team will also saddle up live chances Maidel (race 5), Aberrant (race 8) on Saturday.
Van Dyke hoping to continue with consistant success
Trainer David Van Dyke saddles up Bledisloe and Maximus Gladiator when both geldings resume their preparations at Rosehill on Saturday.
Maximus Gladiator has previously proven himself not only of a great first up record but of producing fantastic form over anything from a mile to 2400m.
“ He should run very well and I am pleased with his two trials this preparation” commented Van Dyke who has the gelding set for the Summer Cup in December.
Van Dykes other runner Bledisloe is in race 8 over 1350 and Van Dyke expects the addition of Blinkers to switch the gelding on and help him improve from his quiet barrier trial.
