Due to extremely hot weather forecasts Racing NSW Stewards advise that they have today invoked level 2 protocols of the “Racing NSW Hot Weather Policy” this weekend at the following venues :

Broadmeadows (NJC)

Tumut
Sunday 13th January 2013
Cowra
Trainers are advised that the time horses are required on course has been shortened to one hour prior to their race at those meetings and parades before each race will be minimised. All other level 2 protocols involving additional hoses, ice water and Veterinary and Medical staff will be in place.
