Please note the following interstate stewards extract regarding Race 5 TAB No.7 : ‘Asclepius’ for the Kembla Grange race meeting on Wednesday 31st October, 2012 :
RACE 5: – Horse – 7. ASCLEPIUS (Seymour 21/10/2012): Shortly after the start Asclepius shifted in, then near the 300m Asclepius, which was laying in, obtained a neat run between Meritorious and Zanzidar. Shortly after obtaining a run, Asclepius had to be checked when tightened for room by Zanzidar which, after being taken out by Elfina, shifted away out and away from that mare. During this incident Quarterbar which was racing to the outside of Asclepius was taken out slightly by that gelding and as a result had to steady to avoid heels. As this incident could not be attributed to any one horse or rider, Stewards took no action other than to notify all riders concerned to do their utmost to protect their fellow riders in future.
