Please be advised of the following interstate stewards extract for Royal Randwick on Saturday April 27.
Race 3:-
Horse No. 2 – XANADU (NZ) (Te Aroha 6/4/13): Began awkwardly and lost ground.
Horse No. 6 – FLORIA (NZ) (Trentham 19/1/13): Raced keenly when being restrained near the 1600m.
Horse No. 10 – PLUCKY BELLE (Caulfield 30/3/13): Slow to begin.
Race 4:-
Horse No. 8 – ZURELLA (NZ) (Ellerslie 13/4/13): Began awkwardly and was steadied when awkwardly placed on heels 1200m.
Race 6:-
Horse No. 7 – NORSQUI (Flemington 13/4/13): Slow to begin (2L).
Horse No. 11 – MACEDONIAN (NZ) (Moonee Valley 6/4/13): Rider explained that when the pace quickened he was caught flat footed and he added that the gelding may have something amiss with its action. A post race veterinary examination did not reveal any abnormality.
Race 7:-
Horse No. 7 – ALL TOO HARD (Caulfield 23/2/13): Bumped near the 300m.
