Please be advised of the following interstate stewards extract for Rosehill on Saturday, July 6.
Race 3:
Horse No.2 – CARRICK (NZ) (Eagle Farm 11/5/13): Fractious in barriers and was examined by veterinarian and passed fit to start. Raced wide throughout.
Race 4:
Horse No.10 – ARCH FIRE (USA) (Sandown 26/6/13): Raced wide in the early stages.
Race 5:
Horse No.2 – SEE THE WORLD (Doomben 18/5/13): Bumped and taken toward rail near the 1000m.Rider said mount never travelled comfortably and was inclined to lay out throughout.
Horse No.7 – DANCES ON STARS (NZ) (Ipswich 15/6/13): Rider said mount travelled well in the early and middle stages however when under pressure gave ground and as he became concerned the maybe something amiss with horse he did not place it under pressure over the final 150m. Trainer could offer no explanation other than horse may not have handled track conditions. Post-race veterinary examination revealed horse to be displaying the thumps.
Race 7:
Horse No.6 – EMOTIONAL CIRCUS (Eagle Farm 1/6/13): Was slowly away.
