Please note the following interstate stewards extract for the Albury race meeting on THURSDAY, 21st March 2013.
RACE 6:-
Horse No. 12 – FULL HAND (Moonee Valley-night 8/2/2013): Commenced awkwardly. Leaving the 1600m when being restrained to obtain cover, had to be eased when awkwardly placed on heels. Passing the 1200m continued to over-race shifted out to avoid heels. When questioned regarding the poor performance of the gelding, rider stated that his mount pulled hard throughout and as a result failed to finish the race off as expected. A post-race veterinary examination of the gelding revealed no abnormalities other than a slower than normal recovery rate.
