Please note the following interstate stewards extracts for the Warwick Farm race meeting on Saturday, 5th January 2013.
RACE 2 :- Horse No.- 14. DALTON (Flemington 6/10/2012): Rider was of the opinion that the colt may be slightly shin sore. A subsequent veterinary examination revealed no evidence of shin soreness, however, the horse had a slower than normal recovery.
RACE 3 :- Horse No. – 9. FLYING HOME (Doomben 22/12/2012): Rounding the home turn and in the early part of the home straight, the horse was held up when unable to improve and near the 250m had to be steadied from heels. The rider then had to alter course to the outside of heels in order to improve.
