Please note the following interstate stewards extracts for the Royal Randwick race meeting on Saturday, 13th April 2013.
RACE 2:-
Horse No. 8 – BRADMAN (Caulfield 30/3/2013): Change of tactics were notified to Stewards for the horse to be ridden more forward (settled midfield). Was steadied when disappointed for a run near the 400m. A post-race veterinary examination revealed horse to have sustained a laceration to its off fetlock and pastern.
RACE 3:-
Horse No. 4 – HOLD ME TIGHT (Doomben 23/3/2013): When held up for clear running in the early part of the straight, shifted out and made contact with another runner on a number of occasions.
RACE 5:-
Horse No. 5 – SO MAN UP (NZ) (Cranbourne 28/3/2013): Slowly away. Commenced to over-race near the 700m and shifted out across heels.
RACE 6:-
Horse No. 14 – SHENZHOU STEEDS (NZ) (Caulfield 23/3/2013): Tightened and lost running near the 800m.
RACE 8:-
Horse No. 2 – SATIN SHOES (Flemington 9/3/2013): Underwent a veterinary examination after arriving on course and was passed fit to start.
