Sky Sports Radio has reported that top sprinting mare Karuta Queen is joining premier Melbourne trainer Peter Moody’s stable.
Formerly trained by Queanbeyan horseman Neville Layt, Karuta Queen is a Group 2 winner and she finished a great 2nd to champion Black Caviar in the 1000m Schillaci Stakes last spring.
Karuta Queen is in pre-training and will target the Melbourne Autumn Carnival including the Group 1 Oakleigh Plate.
