New Committee Member Announced For NSWROA

New South Wales Racehorse Owners Association (NSWROA) President, Ray McDowell, has great pleasure in announcing that Mr Francis Cook has joined the NSWROA Committee.

Mr Cook is a prolific racehorse owner and breeder and has been instrumental in introducing new owners into racing, via his breeding interests, by leasing out shares in those horses. He is an active member of the ATC and VRC and is a keen and regular racegoer.

Outside of the racing industry he has extensive Board experience in his chosen industry.

Mr McDowell said: “NSWROA is very fortunate indeed to obtain the services of Francis Cook for the NSWROA Committee. His wealth of experience and involvement with the racing industry will be invaluable to our Committee.”

Mr McDowell added: “With the expertise, experience and initiative of the likes of John Vouris, Michael Inglis, Peter Beer, Wayne Haylen, Louis Mihalyka, Tom O’Callaghan, Julia Ritchie and now Francis Cook, the Association continues to grow in stature.”

Mr Cook said: “I regard the rights of owners as paramount so it is with delight that I have joined the Committee of the NSW Racehorse Owners Association to assist in the very important task of furthering the interests of racehorse owners.”
