Pride Of Jenni Ranked 6th In The World

Pride Of Jenni has entered the Longines world rankings for the first time, tying for sixth place globally with a rating of 120. This score reflects her dominant win in the Queen Elizabeth Stakes at Randwick last month.

However, her performance doesn’t currently hold the top spot for Australian runners in 2024. The leading contender remains Laurel River, whose impressive 8.5 length victory in the Dubai World Cup in March earned him a rating of 128.

Several other Australian horses are close behind, including retired sprinter Imperatriz and I Wish I Win (TJ Smith Stakes winner), both rated 119. Mr Brightside and the retired three-year-old Militarize (Doncaster Handicap) also share this rating.

Pride Of Jenni’s achievement marks a strong start for the mare on the world stage, but the competition for the top spot remains fierce among Australian runners.
