There was a minor scare for Glyn Schofield yesterday when he was stood down from riding at Canterbury after the third race when he aggravated an old injury.
Schofield will get treatment on a lower back problem on Thursday and will miss the Wyong meeting. But he has indicated that nothing will keep him from riding Hay List on Saturday in the Challenge Stakes (1000m) at Warwick Farm.
“It is an injury I did about two months ago and I have been receiving treatment and it has been feeling good,” Schofield said.
