Golden Slipper runner Snitzerland has burnt turf on Tuesday’s Mooney Valley trackwork. Trainer Gerald Ryan has taken Snitzerland to Mooney Valley to ‘tune her up and to educate her’ in preparation for Friday’s Group 3 Champagne Stakes 1200m. Snitzerland finished her work out running 22.94 seconds for the last 400m. Ryan has commented that ‘it’s funny that she seems to be more comfortable the Melbourne way of going’.
