Following the receipt on the evening of 24 April 2013 of the final confirmatory certificate from the Chem Centre Western Australia, Racing NSW Stewards have announced that at 1pm on Friday, 26th April 2013, at the Racing NSW Offices, they will be conducting inquiries into the Analyst’s findings of the non-steroidal anti-inflammatory Ibuprofen, in samples taken from the following horses at race meetings:-
14/2/13 Seuss (NZ) – Gosford
16/2/13 Jade Marauder – Rosehill
16/3/13 Jade Marauder – Warwick Farm
16/3/13 Arinosa – Warwick Farm
Further, Stewards advise that on the 19th, 20th and 25th March 2013 feed samples and 11 containers of a manufactured feed product were taken by Stewards from the Rosehill stables of trainer Mr Chris Waller and delivered to the Australian Racing Forensic Laboratory for analysis for the presence of Ibuprofen. Non-raceday samples were collected on the 20th March 2013 from seven horses in Mr Waller’s stable and were also sent for analysis.
The results of those tests will be presented to the inquiry.
