Winners From Around The Nation (06-07-2013)

Flemington

Race 2 – 1. Ava’s Delight. Great win last start after peeling off the leaders and flying home. Three starts back the filly finished very close to Akavoroun who is rated very highly.

Race 4 – 10. Space. This resident of the William’s families Macedon Lodge was terrible last start, but he is too good to be sacked after one bad performance. He is for sale on the Macedon Lodge website, but so was Linton not too long ago.

Race 5 – 2. Mr Make Believe. Another that was too bad to be true at his last start, but trainer Moody thinks he has improved this week. We are getting $8 this week as compared to the $2.50 last time. He will no doubt improve and his best will smash these.

Race 7 – 4. Cooldini and 10. Police Gazette. Quinella. One is at even money and the other is at $9 but on the weights they look almost equal chances. Police Gazette is one of the best looking horses in work and his ability is unquestionable.

Eagle Farm

Race 6 – 1. Ibicenco. Has won over 3200m before, in the Sandwon Cup and that was against a good field. He looks almost unbeatable in this race and is one of the best bets for the day.

Race 7 – 4. Funtantes. This mare can lead and fight and is way down in class and the weights. She has class and tenacity and this is the weakest field she has faced in a little while.

Rosehill

Race 1 – 1. Bull Point. A potential superstar that did a remarkable job in winning at his first start. This colt cost just under a million dollars and Gai has had huge wraps on him since she first saw him at her annual usual inspections.

Race 4 – 1. Secessio. An absolute tragedy beaten at his last start. This gelding experienced some of the worst luck imaginable and still almost won. With even luck, this Waller import should be going very close to winning.

Race 7 – 3. Zaratone. This fast gelding held on really well last time and he loves Rosehill. If he gets an easy lead he will be very hard to run down.

Race 7 – 6. Emotional Circus. Nominated for Eagle Farm also. Emotional Circus gets scratched almost every week. If she eventually runs, it means the connections have finally found a good race they think she can win. She has so much talent and can unleash a huge finishing burst.
