Turn Me Loose Up For Award

The Murray Baker and Andrew Forsman-trained Turn Me Loose is a finalist for the 2016 Victorian Racehorse of the Year Award to be presented on Thursday night.

The five-year-old Iffraaj entire had six Victorian starts for four wins including the Gr.1 Emirates Stakes and the Gr.1 Futurity Stakes in the 2015-16 season.

The other finalists for the top honour are Chautauqua, Winx and New Zealand-breds Criterion and Prince of Penzance.

Turn Me Loose was named New Zealand’s Champion Sprinter and Champion Middle Distance Horse at the New Zealand Horse of the Year awards earlier this month.

The Victorian Racing Awards ceremony will be broadcast live on racing.com from 11pm (NZ-time).
